Meet our Team
Dr. Belz
Dr. Belz worked as a bookkeeper for many years until the call to work with animals was too loud to ignore. She enrolled in Penn State University obtaining a degree in Life Science in 2000. From there her journey took her to the beautiful island of St. Kitts where she pursued a degree in veterinary medicine, completing her clinical year at Oklahoma State University and obtaining a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2005. According to Dr. Belz, it was not only an opportunity to achieve her dream, but it was a life experience getting to know the local people and experience a different culture.
Her interests include emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery and advanced dentistry. When asked why she does what she does she responded, "There is nothing else I would do. I got into veterinary medicine to help animals and stayed not only for the pets, but the owners they love. I wake up every day happy to go to work."
Dr. Belz is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association as well as the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. She is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, bird watching and spending time with her furry "kids." She has a menagerie of rescued dogs and cats.

"Being a pet owner is about so much more than just opening your home to an animal. It’s about boisterous greetings and snuggles on the couch after a long day. It’s about chin scratches and belly rubs, treats and toys. Most of all, it’s about sharing your heart and learning what unconditional love and unwavering loyalty truly feel like." |
