We Take Your Pet's Health Seriously, "Because they can't tell you what's wrong"

At Huntingdon Valley Veterinary Hospital, we understand the deep connection you share with your animal companion. We know that he or she is more like a four-legged family member than merely a pet. That’s because, beyond who we are as veterinary professionals, we’re pet parents just like you. We know firsthand this amazing journey, with all of its ups and downs, joys and challenges. In fact, it’s our personal experiences with animals that make our care so unique.

When you entrust us with the well-being of your cherished companion, you’ll get more than just a doctor for your pet. You’ll get warm greetings by name and true camaraderie. You’ll get honest, open communication and a partnership that includes you as part of your loved one’s health care team. Moreover, you’ll get the peace of mind that comes with knowing that we adore your furry friend just as much as you do. That’s something you simply won’t receive anywhere else.

Caring for All Ages

Regular exams and testing allows us to determine what is normal for your pet. Knowing these results help us detect any abnormalities or problems early. When diagnosed early, many conditions can be successfully managed leading to better outcomes for your pet and treatment costs can often be reduced.
We welcome your questions and look forward to addressing any concerns you may have. The more educated you are about your pet, the better you will be able to care for him or her, so we strive to offer you all the support you need.

Good Senior Pet Health Care requires attention to several factors:
  • Diet and weight management
  • Joint health
  • Early disease detection blood and urine tests
  • Dental maintenance
  • Diabetes screening
  • Function of thyroid, kidneys, and liver
  • Eye and vision health
  • Pain management discussion

Since our pets age at a faster rate than humans, we recommend an exam every six months after your pet reaches age 7 in order to help them live a longer, healthier & happier life.
